Farewell Marine, a video dedicated to the heroes from Kaneohe Bay, Marine Corps Base Hawaii, 26 Marines and one Sailor, we lost in a helicopter crash near Ar Rutbah, Iraq on January 26, 2005, and in honor of those Marines who will carry on.
This video tribute is the collaboration of Julie Sharp, creator of Yellow Ribbon Greetings; and the author of the poem Farewell Marine, Sandra Gilcher. Each are proud mothers of United States Marines.

Marine Sgt. Mark P. Adams, 24, of Morrisville, North Carolina.
Adams died from an improvised explosive device while conducting combat operations against enemy forces in Saqlawiyah, Iraq. He was assigned to Marine Forces Reserve's II Marine Expeditionary Force Augmentation Command Element, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. During Operation Iraqi Freedom, Adams was attached to 2nd Marine Division, II MEF (Forward). Died on October 15, 2005.
Marine Lance Cpl. Brian E. Anderson, 26, of Durham, North Carolina.
Killed in a non-hostile accident west of An Nasiriyah, Iraq. Anderson was manning a .50 caliber rifle on top of a 7-ton truck when the vehicle passed under and apparently snagged low hanging power lines. He was assigned to the 2nd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Died on April 2, 2003.
Marine Cpl. Felipe C. Barbosa, 21, of High Point, North Carolina.
Barbosa died from a non-hostile vehicle accident in Fallujah, Iraq. He was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Died on January 28, 2006.
Marine Gunnery Sgt. Darrell W. Boatman, 38, of Fayetteville, North Carolina.
Boatman died at Landstuhl Reginal Medical Center, Germany, from wounds sustained on November 2, 2005 from an improvised explosive device while conducting combat operations in the vicinity of Habbaniyah, Iraq. He was assigned to 8th Engineer Support Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Died on November 4, 2005.
Marine Lance Cpl. Benjamin S. Bryan, 23, of Lumberton, North Carolina.
Bryan died as result of enemy action in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. He was assigned to 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, California. Died on November 13, 2004.
Marine Lance Cpl. Kenneth J. Butler, 19, of Rowan, North Carolina.
Butler died from an improvised explosive device while conducting combat operations against enemy forces near Al Amariyah, Iraq. He was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Died on October 21, 2005.
Marine Cpl. Benny G. Cockerham III, 21, of Conover, North Carolina.
Cockerham died when his vehicle was struck by an improvised explosive device while conducting combat operations against enemy forces near Al Amariyah, Iraq. His vehicle was traveling beside a canal when the attack occurred and he was thrown from the vehicle into the water. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Died on October 21, 2005.
Marine Cpl. Christopher S. Ebert, 21, of Mooresboro, North Carolina.
Ebert died due to enemy action in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. He was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, California. Died on September 17, 2004.
Marine Lt. Col. David S. Greene, 39, of Raleigh, North Carolina.
Greene died due to enemy action in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. He was a reservist assigned to Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 775, Marine Aircraft Group 16, 3D Marine Air Wing, Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, California. Died on July 28, 2004.
Marine Lance Cpl. David B. Houck, 25, of Winston Salem, North Carolina.
Houck died as a result of enemy action in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. He was assigned to 1st Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Died on November 26, 2004.
Marine Lance Cpl. Gregory C. Howman, 28, of Charlotte, North Carolina.
Howman died due to enemy action in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. He was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, California. Died on September 15, 2004.
Marine Lance Cpl. Jeriad P. Jacobs, 19, of Clayton, North Carolina.
Jacobs was killed by enemy small arms fire while conducting combat operations near Fallujah, Iraq. He was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Died on January 7, 2006.
Marine Lance Cpl. Alan Dinh Lam, 19, of Snow Camp, North Carolina.
Killed in a non-hostile accident with two other soldiers when a rocket-propelled grenade launcher they were firing for familiarization malfunctioned on a firing range near the city of Al Kut, Iraq. He was assigned to the 8th Communication Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Expeditionary Brigade, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Died on April 22, 2003.
Marine Lance Cpl. Kevin A. Lucas, 20, of Greensboro, North Carolina.
Lucas died while conducting combat operations against enemy forces in Al Anbar province, Iraq. He was assigned to 3rd Battalion, 8th Marines, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Died on May 26, 2006.

Parr died from an improvised explosive device while conducting combat operations against enemy forces in Hit, Iraq.
